Originally founded in 1964, the Ralston Valley Water and Sanitation District provides water and wastewater services to District customers. Ralston Valley purchases treated water from the City of Arvada. Residents purchase on average 100 million gallons of treated water annually and produce 40 million gallons of sewage for treatment.

Board of Directors

Ralston Valley is a Special District which is administered by a five-person volunteer elected Board of Directors, which meet the first Tuesday of every month. Board members are elected by eligible electors in the District to staggered four year terms.

At the regularly scheduled Ralston Valley Water and Sanitation District Board meeting held on November 7th the Board of Directors adopted the 2024 Budget as well as approved the 2024 water rates. These water rates reflect the 12% increase that Ralston Valley received from the City of Arvada beginning on January 1, 2024.

2025 Budget, Rates, Fees, and Charges

At the regularly scheduled November 5th, 2024 Board meeting of the Ralston Valley Water and Sanitation District the Board will discuss the proposed 2025 Budget as well as 2025 Water Rates, Tap Fees and charges.
